Two prompts to a starting scenario - you decide the rest

For a small or mid-sized business, the biggest hurdle is rarely the calculation - it is the start: the many input values you otherwise have to gather before you can run anything at all. This is exactly where YourValidator shortens the entry, without taking the decision away from you. In two prompts you have a complete starting scenario with flagged benchmark values. After that you replace the estimates step by step with your own numbers. The start is fast; the work that matters stays with you.

The tool in brief

YourValidator runs a marketing mix through a deterministic calculation: you enter channels, budgets, and assumptions, and the model shows the consequence - entry threshold, saturation, halo effects, and cannibalization in interplay. It runs entirely in your browser, with no account and no server transfer. It looks for no "optimum" and claims no effect: it makes visible what a budget allocation triggers, before the money flows. The decision is yours.

How the AI helps - and where it doesn't

The optional AI function (BYOK, you bring your own API key) does exactly one thing: it fills the input fields with industry benchmark values, so a scenario stands in seconds. These values are flagged in yellow - they are a starting point, not a result. The AI does not calculate, it does not decide, and it does not search the web. It only saves you from typing the starting values.

The AI fills. The calculation is deterministic. The decision is yours.

The quickstart in two prompts

Two prompts to a starting scenario with flagged benchmark values. After that you replace the estimates step by step with your own numbers. The example below assumes a law firm - simply adapt the industry, location, and size.

Prompt 1 · Fill the channels

Law firm in Hamburg, 10 practice areas, 20 employees. Fill the active channels with typical benchmark values for this industry and size.

Prompt 2 · Estimate saturation & halo

Estimate saturation and halo effects for these channels and enter them. Briefly justify each value and say where you are uncertain.

Asking for justification and uncertainty is the real trick: it turns the starting scenario into a list of assumptions you can check - instead of a black-box number you would have to trust. That is exactly what YourValidator is about.

Then: replace the estimates with your own numbers

Now the work that makes the difference begins. Go through the yellow-flagged values and replace them wherever you have real numbers: your actual channel budgets, your conversion rates, your order values. Every replaced estimate makes the model a little more solid. What stays yellow is what you knowingly do not know - and you see exactly where research or experience is still missing.

Common quickstart questions

Does the AI calculate the result?

No. The AI function (BYOK) only fills the input fields with industry benchmark values - flagged in yellow. The calculation itself is deterministic and runs without AI. The AI speeds up setting the scenario up; it makes no decision and replaces no real number.

Do I have to accept the suggested values?

No, quite the opposite. The yellow-flagged values are a starting point, not a result. The real benefit comes when you replace the estimates step by step with your actual numbers. Only then does the model run on your reality.

Do I need my own API key?

For the AI fill, yes (BYOK - bring your own key). Calculating, comparing, and viewing all work fully without AI. The AI is a shortcut for setup, not a requirement for the tool.
