Paddle isn’t just any payment service provider – Paddle is a Merchant of Record.
This means that Paddle takes full responsibility for processing your purchase: GDPR-compliant, in your local currency, including VAT, invoicing and local tax compliance in over 200 countries.

The fact that this system can be offered on these terms despite its extensive functionality
is due to the consistent optimization of the IT infrastructure:
Client-side architecture (serverless):
The mathematical calculation engine and graphical visualization run entirely on the end user’s browser.
No computationally intensive cloud servers are required.
Decentralized data management:
The system does not use a central database to store user data. Backups are saved locally on the user’s device as encrypted files.
Data transfers (e.g., via Zapier) are handled directly through the users’ existing accounts.
Elimination of administrative overhead:
Due to the software architecture, there is no need for a costly support, sales, or administrative infrastructure.
